Brett Michael Carroll (born October 3, 1982, in Knoxville, Tennessee) is a Major League Baseball outfielder for the Florida Marlins. After attending Middle Tennessee State, he was selected in the 10th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft and signed June 21, 2004. He has an excellent outfield arm having 27 assists during the 2006 season. On June 8, 2009, Carroll hit his first career home run against Randy Johnson. (via Wikipedia)
